I’m Ria, a kind and empathetic therapist from India. My goal is to provide you with a safe and compassionate space to receive the mental health support you need.
In my work, I draw inspiration from my own cultural experiences and am committed to supporting other women of colour on their mental health journeys. Having lived through my own experience with a chronic disease, I’m passionate about supporting clients who have experienced similar challenges with their health. Along with this, I can help you work through trauma, attachment issues, and childhood events. By asking thoughtful questions and encouraging a shared feeling of honesty, kindness, and curiosity, my goal is for you to leave each session feeling lighter and full of hope. I would love the opportunity to speak with you to see if we’re a good fit!
In addition to my experience working with a variety of clients, I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

I’ll be your cheerleader every step of the way and help you make sense of the challenges in your life and work through the grey stuff. Together we’ll organize your thoughts, set attainable goals, and create a plan for you to achieve them.

I’m Marlyn, a fun and easy-going therapist who loves to work with middle-aged women like myself. My goal is to be an active listener and give my clients space to sort through their thoughts while offering appropriate advice and support.
I’m in what I like to call my “second phase of life” and have experience working with clients who are in a similar stage of their journeys. Maybe you’re a mother, an empty nester, or simply a woman who needs a little extra support right now. I bring my warm energy and positive outlook on life to each session and I truly believe that you’re the expert of your own life! My job is simply to guide you in the right direction and help you recognize your strengths using my personal lived experience and professional knowledge as a social worker and therapist. I would love to have a 1-on-1 meet and greet to get to know you!
I have a Bachelor of Social Work degree from York University and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto. Along with this, I’ve obtained a Diploma from George Brown from the Assaulted Women’s and Children Counsellor and Advocate Program.
